In order to form practical skills, as well as professional
competencies, tuberculosis classes are conducted at the clinical base
of the TB dispensary.
During the lesson, the students were present at the pleuroectomy of the
right lobe of the lung, the operation was carried out in a
demonstration and explanatory version, which is important for a better
perception of the course of the operation.
Also, the teacher demonstrated an algorithm for performing a pleural
puncture with detailed explanations and comments (briefing), after
which, under the supervision of the teacher, the students independently
repeated this manipulation (debriefing) directly on the patient.
In the course of the lesson, the methods of analyzing X-ray images for
pulmonary tuberculosis were considered.
It is worth noting that the students' gratitude to the teacher for the
opportunity to closely see the open operation and ask a question about
the features of suturing, pleural puncture and interpretation of
phthisiatric X-ray images.
