Guest Lecture by Dr. Dmitry Grebnev (USMU): “Pathology of Tumor Growth” The Department of pathology, basic and clinical pharmacology hosted a guest lecture by Dr. Dmitry Grebnev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pathophysiology at Ural State Medical University, on the topic “Pathology of Tumor Growth.”
Dr. Grebnev is a renowned researcher in pathophysiology, author of over 140 scientific papers and 19 patents. His scientific strength lies in studying cellular regeneration, tumor growth mechanisms, and translating experimental findings into clinical practice.
During the lecture, he highlighted key molecular and cellular mechanisms of tumor development, the role of signaling pathways and angiogenesis, and modern approaches to biomarker analysis and targeted therapy. The audience praised the clarity, depth, and clinical relevance of the presentation.
