"World Nations Mosaic"

On December 10, the College of International Educational Programs at Osh State University hosted a vibrant and impactful contest titled "World Nations Mosaic," featuring the participation of first-year students. The purpose of the event was to broaden students' worldview, strengthen intercultural dialogue, and introduce the rich traditions of the world's nations. The contest consisted of five rounds, each of which presented a new perspective on the cultural diversity of the world: Team Introductions - Teams introduced themselves, shared their slogans, and created a friendly and creative atmosphere. The Nation's Calling Card - Participants showcased the history, traditions, national costumes, and symbols of the nation they represented. Intellectual Round - Students tested their knowledge of geography, history, languages, and the customs of different nations. World Cuisines - Teams prepared presentations of national dishes, allowing the audience to experience the flavors of different countries. Musical Performance - This round featured performances of works representing the arts and national melodies of various nations. The event was organized by the faculty members of the Public Sciences and Pre-Military Training Department: P.A. Tolobayev, A.T. Ormonova, K.O. Ormonaliev, M.T. Sydykova, Z.A. Soltoev, and A.A. Abdrakhmanova, along with the "History Enthusiasts" club. "World Nations Mosaic" was an important event that united students, showcased their talents and creativity, and provided an opportunity to express respect and admiration for the world's cultures. The contest left unforgettable impressions on both the participants and the audience.
