The College of International Educational Programs organized a solemn event “Tribute to the Great Writer” dedicated to Literature Day and the 97th anniversary of the birth of the great writer of the Kyrgyz people, Chingiz Aitmatov. The purpose of the event was to glorify the rich literary heritage of Chingiz Aitmatov, increase students’ interest in literature, and promote national spiritual values. The event was attended by the college administration, teachers, and students. During the evening, information about the life and work of the great writer was provided, excerpts from his works were read out, and staged scenes were shown.
