The course content has been updated to reflect the most common infectious diseases in India and modern approaches to their diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Particular attention is paid to infections with high epidemiological and socioeconomic significance for the region.
The updated program includes topics on tuberculosis (including drug-resistant forms), HIV infection, malaria, dengue, enteric and zoonotic infections, COVID-19, and issues of antimicrobial resistance.
