03.02.2026 Osh State University presented projects aimed at developing the city of Osh to the mayor’s office. Teachers of the MFTIT Institute, together with students, developed and introduced the “Digital Osh” project. According to the institute’s director, Bektur Azimov, the project covers six main areas of digitalization of the city: “Smart Transport Osh”; “Digital Osh Market”; “Smart Traffic Lights”; Digital 112 Emergency System; Mobile Application for Patients; Unified City Card. Azimov emphasized that if the project is implemented, the university will take long-term responsibility and guarantee high-quality execution. The meeting was attended by Rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov, Deputy Mayor of Osh Nurlan Zakirov, Head of the Social Development Department Khanbike Asanova, and heads of relevant departments.
