On February 16, 2026, our faculty’s lecturer of the Department of Chinese Language and Sinology, Meerimbü Tashtanova Mahmudzhanovna, participated in the second round of the “Best Teacher – 2026” competition by delivering a model open lesson on the professional Chinese language topic “你家有几口人？” (“How many people are in your family?”). The lesson was organized at a high methodological level, demonstrating the lecturer’s precision in teaching methods and creative approach. Each stage of the lesson was carefully planned to ensure active student participation and to enhance their language skills. During the lesson, students successfully practiced grammar, listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. To increase student engagement, an interactive game was conducted using the Kahoot platform, where participants were divided into teams and competed with each other. This approach strengthened their critical thinking, quick response skills, and teamwork. Meerimbü Tashtanova Mahmudzhanovna’s open lesson fully achieved its objectives, significantly contributing to motivating students in language learning and reinforcing their communicative abilities.
