On February 19, 2026, the College of Finance and Law held an event dedicated to February 23, Defender of the Fatherland Day, entitled "We Love and Defend Our Homeland." The event was attended by the Director of the College of Finance and Law, PhD in Law A. Ergeshov; Deputy Directors for Academic Affairs A. Akmatali uulu and M. Bakashov; Basic Military Training instructors K. Bakirov and E. Bakirov; and guests: Afghan War veterans, who spoke to the students about their experiences. They emphasized the students responsibility to love, protect, maintain stability, and be patriots of their homeland. The students also had their questions answered, performed patriotic songs, and demonstrated their agility. The Director of the College of Finance and Law expressed gratitude to the Afghan War veterans and presented letters of thanks and diplomas to the students who actively participated.
