On March 5, 2026, at the College of Finance and Law of Osh State University, March 3 (Flag Day), March 5 (Ak-Kalpak Day), and March 8 (International Womens Day), an educational and cultural event entitled "National Values Are the Main Source of Patriotism, Traditions Are the Foundation of Education, Women Are the Spiritual Support of Society" was held for students. The event was led by history teachers A. Mamatova, D.M. Anarbaeva, K.E. Badalova, N.K. Toktorova, and K.R. Ryskulova.
The main goal of the event was to educate the younger generation in the spirit of respect for national values and the preservation and development of ancestral traditions. The ceremony was opened by Adyl Kochkonbaevich Ergeshov, Director of the College of Finance and Law and PhD in Law. In his speech, he emphasized that respect for state symbols, the preservation of national customs, and the veneration of the Ak-Kalpak are key values of Kyrgyz society. During the events section on the topic "Motherland - a Sacred Concept," Abdykerim Mamatov, a lecturer in social sciences and pre-conscription training at the Central Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, PhD in history, and associate professor, presented a paper on "The Kyrgyz Flag - the Pride of the Nation." In the so-called "Tradition - the Core of the Nation" section, D. Anarbaeva and K. Ryskulova, lecturers in the same section, presented papers on "National Dress - a Sign of Cultural Identity" and "Ak Kalpak - the National Pride of the Kyrgyz People," exploring the historical and cultural significance of national dress. Students also presented a theatrical performance, "Heritage of the Fathers" (Ata Murasy), reflecting the idea of respecting and preserving the traditions left by ancestors. As part of the event entitled "Woman - The Beginning of Life," social science and pre-conscription teacher N. Toktorova delivered a speech on the topic "Ak Zholuk - The Greatness and Wisdom of Women" and spoke in detail about the role of women in society and the family.
As a result, the event helped strengthen students patriotism, increase interest in national values, and promote deep respect for women.
