A representative of the International Medical Faculty of Osh State University participated in the ISN World Congress of Nephrology (WCN’26), held on March 28–31, 2026, in Yokohama, Japan.
During the congress, a scientific poster was presented titled:
“Association between ambient temperature extremes and acute kidney injury hospitalizations in Japan: a nationwide time-stratified case-crossover study, 2011–2019.”
The study focuses on the impact of extreme ambient temperatures on the risk of acute kidney injury hospitalizations.
Participation in the congress provided an opportunity to exchange experience with international experts, discuss current research trends, and strengthen academic collaboration. The knowledge and connections gained will contribute to further research development, including within the SATREPS project.
