On April 18, 2026, D.M. Anarbaeva and S.M. Ydyrysova, lecturers from the College of Finance and Law at Osh State University, conducted a cultural and educational trip to Uzgen with second-year students. They visited the historical and architectural complex, the Imam Sarakhsi Mosque, and the Uzgen Minaret. The main goal was to study the historical and cultural heritage of the region, introduce architectural monuments of the Karakhanid era and the legacy of the great thinker Imam Sarakhsi, and introduce students to national history and culture through direct acquaintance with Uzgens architectural landmarks. Particular attention was paid to the mosque named after Imam Abu Bakr al-Sarahsi, a prominent Islamic jurist whose work and intellectual legacy are of global significance. A lecture and tour was given on the role of Uzgen as one of the ancient centers of statehood in the territory of modern-day Kyrgyzstan.
