A delegation from Osh State University led by Rector Professor KudaiberdiKozhobekov visited Japan within the framework of the SATREPS international project supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency and Japan Science and Technology Agency. The delegation included Vice-Rector AltynbekZainidinov and Dean of the International Medical Faculty Professor Roman Kalmatov. During the visit, the delegation visited Institute of Science Tokyo and St. Luke’s International University, where meetings and discussions on scientific cooperation, public health, and air pollution research were held. Special attention was given to air quality monitoring systems, modern technologies for air pollution assessment, and the development of joint scientific research. The delegation also visited a reference air monitoring station and met with representatives of HORIBA and TEC International. The SATREPS project aims to develop an air pollution assessment system, study its impact on public health, and establish the IRCAPS research center at Osh State University. At the conclusion of the visit, both sides confirmed their readiness to further strengthen scientific cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan. 116 03:33 14-05-2026
