On May 12, 2026, the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan) hosted an international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 111th anniversary of Alykul Osmonov, a shining star of Kyrgyz poetry. At the event, titled "Fundamental Research and Innovative Educational Technologies in the Philology of Turkic Peoples," Murzaim Askarbekovna Aitieva, a Kyrgyz language instructor at the College of International Educational Programs (CIEP), Osh State University, presented her research paper: "A. Osmonov's Translation Mastery in the Work 'The Knight in the Panther's Skin'." The Rector of the Institute, Professor Bakhtiyar Mahmudjanovich Rasulov, opened the gathering, highlighting the significance of the cultural and friendly ties between the Kyrgyz and Uzbek peoples. Scholars from various nations delivered presentations on Osmonov's unique talent and his prominent place in Turkic literature.
