On May 28, 2026, a guest lecture was organized for 1st–3rd year students majoring in Tourism at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism and Agrarian Technologies. The lecture on the topic “Agrarian Tourism and Agroforestry on the Example of Nepal” was delivered by Professor Dr. Kurt Luger from the Department of Communication of the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Heritage and Tourism at the University of Salzburg, as well as Vice-Rector for International Relations of I. Arabaev Kyrgyz State University, PhD, ecologist G.T. Jalilova.
In addition, the guests held a meeting with the Director of the Consulting Center for Mountain Ecosystem Protection and Green Innovations, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor A.U. Akkulov, as well as lecturers of the Agronomy program of our institute and representatives of B. Sydykov Kyrgyz Economic University. During the meeting, an agreement was reached on the further joint implementation of projects.
