On September 10, 2026, during the official opening of the IRCAPS Air Quality Monitoring Station at the Ak-Buura campus of Osh State University, a special recognition ceremony was held for participants of the international SATREPS project. Representatives of the Osh City Mayor’s Office presented Ardaktuu Gramota (Certificates of Appreciation) to: Professor Nobutoshi Nawa, Institute of Science Tokyo; Dr. Aiperi Asanbek kyzy, member of the SATREPS project team. The awards were presented in recognition of their invaluable contribution to the development of scientific cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives in the field of air pollution research. The recognition reflects their contribution to strengthening partnerships between Kyrgyzstan and Japan and to the development of scientific cooperation at Osh State University. The ceremony took place during an important milestone for the SATREPS project — the opening of the IRCAPS air quality monitoring station, which will provide reliable data for future research and air quality assessment.
