Following the 2nd Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) Meeting of the SATREPS project, Professor Nobutoshi Nawa of the Institute of Science Tokyo was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Osh State University. The honorary title was conferred in recognition of Professor Nawa’s significant contribution to the development of academic and scientific cooperation between Osh State University and Japanese partner institutions, as well as his valuable contribution to joint research and international projects. Professor Nawa has played an important role in strengthening cooperation between Osh State University and the Institute of Science Tokyo, particularly in the areas of public health, environmental health, air pollution research, and scientific capacity building. The conferment of the honorary title represents a high recognition of Professor Nawa’s long-standing contribution to international academic cooperation and joint scientific initiatives. It also reflects the strong partnership between Osh State University and Japanese research institutions and their shared commitment to advancing collaborative research.
