Associate Professor A. Bazieva of the Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics completed a 72-hour professional development course focused on developing digital skills. The course was entitled: “English in the Digital Age: Language Data, Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Translation.” The course covered modern digital technologies related to language data processing, the application of artificial intelligence, automated translation, and the use of digital tools in educational and professional activities. Particular attention was paid to the modern capabilities of artificial intelligence in working with textual information, analyzing language data, and developing the digital literacy required by educators in the context of the rapid digitalization of education.
