On October 5, 2026, the Financial and Law College held a historical and cultural event entitled “Sacred Osh — Heritage of the Centuries” dedicated to the Day of Osh City. The main purpose of the event was to introduce young people to the ancient and unique history of Osh, its historical and cultural heritage, strengthen students’ sense of patriotism, and foster deep respect for the history of their native land. During the event, detailed information was presented about the history of Osh, its important role along the Great Silk Road, and the development of the city from ancient times to the present day. Students delivered presentations about the historical sites and architectural monuments of Osh, as well as historical figures associated with the city. Artistic readings and interesting historical facts were also presented. The event “Sacred Osh — Heritage of the Centuries” became an important educational and cultural activity aimed at increasing students’ interest in history, fostering respect for the rich historical heritage of Osh, which has been preserved for thousands of years, and encouraging its preservation for future generations.
