In accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic, based on the Charter of the institution “Osh State University,” approved by Order No. 556/1 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 16, 2023, and in accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of OshSU (Protocol No. 6 dated March 1, 2024), by merging the faculties of “Physics and Engineering” and “Mathematics and Information Technologies” and pursuant to the order of the Rector of Osh State University, Professor K. G. Kozhobekov No. 976-ФХД/24 dated March 4, 2024, the “Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies” was established under Osh State University. The Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies began its activities as an independent structural unit within Osh State University. According to the order of the Rector of Osh State University, Professor K. G. Kozhobekov No. 1003-ФХД/24 dated March 4, 2024, the position of Director of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies was assigned to the Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Graphic Design, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Bektur Abdyrahmanovich Azimov.
