Department of Sports and National Games

The Department of “Sports and National Games” was created on the basis of the order of the rector of Osh State University 2048-FHD/21 and the decision of the Academic Council of Osh State University dated April 23, 2021, protocol No. 7. Since April 23, 2021, it was led by Associate Professor Satiev Taalaibek Adylbekovich. Since April 20, 2022, the senior teacher Sabirov Sulaiman Abdikalylovich has been in charge.

Objectives of the department:

To prepare future specialists in physical education who are able to preserve and strengthen the health of society, form a healthy lifestyle, develop psychophysical and moral qualities of a person, promote mass sports activities through physical education, sports and national games using modern technologies.

Tasks of the department:

- to teach students to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice; - to provide educational institutions, physical culture and sports environment with highly qualified specialists in professional activities; - to educate modern youth who can think freely and are the best in their field, respect cultural values and are responsible for society.

Scientific direction of the department:

1) Within the framework of physical education and sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, to study the peculiarities of the impact of new pedagogical technologies on the human body; 2) To study the effectiveness of research in teaching sports and physical education in universities; 3) The use of innovative methods, followed by correction to assess the functional state of students; 4) Adaptation of the athletes′ body to training loads; 5) Optimization of the training process management by evaluating changes in the functional state of athletes (choosing the right training method
