Online Lecture by a Senior Lecturer of HSEIP at HSE University

On March 12, 2025, Abdimitalip uulu Nursultan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian and Eurasian Integration and PhD in History, delivered a guest lecture at the National Research University Higher School of Economics on the topic “The History of Revolutions in Kyrgyzstan.” The lecture examined the political, economic, and cultural causes of revolutionary processes in Kyrgyzstan.

Guest Lecture by a Senior Lecturer of HSEIP at the K. Sh. Toktomamatov International University

On December 6, 2024, Abdimitalip uulu Nursultan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian and Eurasian Integration and PhD in History, delivered an open guest lecture at the K. Sh. Toktomamatov International University in Jalal-Abad on the topic “Writing and Publishing an Article in SCOPUS.” The lecture provided detailed information about the structure of a scientific article, publication requirements, working with sources and references, finding reliable journals, and other important aspects of preparing materials for international databases.

Scientific Seminar on “Writing and Publishing an Article in SCOPUS”

On January 15, 2025, Batken State University held a scientific seminar on the topic “Writing and Publishing an Article in SCOPUS” under the supervision of Vice-Rector for Science, State Language, and Organizational Issues, Professor M. D. Aidarova. Participants received information about article structure, publication requirements, working with sources, selecting reliable journals, and publication activity in the SCOPUS, RSCI, and Web of Science databases. At the end of the seminar, certificates were awarded to the participants.

Lecture by Data Analyst Sanzhar Kadyrakunov on Power BI

Data analyst Sanzhar Kadyrakunov delivered a lecture on “Basic Analytics Tools: Power BI” for the faculty and students of HSEIP at Osh State University. During the lecture, participants became familiar with data visualization opportunities, the creation of analytical reports, and the use of Power BI in educational and research activities.

Refresh Training on GALS Methodologies for Teachers and Students of HSEIP

A refresh training on GALS methodologies was held for teachers and students of the Higher School of International Educational Programs at Osh State University. The session focused on approaches related to dreams, the journey toward goals, and the application of SMART criteria in educational and personal development trajectories.

Guest Lecture by Carmen Le Bris on Ethnographic Methodology and Intercultural Communication

A guest lecture on ethnographic methodology and intercultural communication was organized at the Higher School of International Educational Programs. The speaker was Carmen Le Bris, an anthropologist and doctoral student at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. The lecture was part of a series of guest lectures for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” program.

On December 19, 2024, a guest lecture was held for students of the International Relations and Digital Diplomacy program of the Department of Russian and Eurasian Integration on the topic “Digital Aspects of International Relations.” The speaker was Associate Professor E. I. Shestakov, Candidate of Technical Sciences. The lecture addressed issues of digitalization of international processes, information interaction, and new technological tools in the diplomatic sphere.

Guest Lecture Dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic

On October 30, 2024, a guest lecture dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was organized. Students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” and “Regional Studies” programs took part in the event. The speaker was former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, diplomat, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Professor Alikbek Dzhekshenkulovich Dzhekshenkulov.

Week of Guest Lectures: Korea’s Development and Information Security

From September 16 to 20, 2024, the Higher School of International Educational Programs hosted a week of guest lectures. Professor Kim Gap Yong, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Gwangju University of the Republic of Korea, delivered lectures on the reasons behind the development of the Republic of Korea. Students of the “Regional Studies” and “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” programs actively participated in the discussions.

In addition, Professor Gulzat Kochkorbaevna Omurbekova of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after Batyraly Sydykov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, gave a guest lecture for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy,” “Primary Education. English Language,” and “Regional Studies” programs on the topic “Information Security When Working on the Internet.” During the discussion, relevant issues of digital and information security were raised.

From Traditional to Digital Diplomacy: Guest Lecture by Chyngyz Aidarbekov

Member of Parliament Chyngyz Aidarbekov delivered a guest lecture for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” specialty at the Higher School of International Educational Programs of Osh State University. The lecture was titled “Modern Diplomacy: The Transition from Traditional to Digital Diplomacy Using Kyrgyzstan as an Example.” During the meeting, the speaker shared practical diplomatic experience, spoke about current trends in international relations and the digitalization of diplomacy, and answered students’ questions.

Online Lecture “Follow Your Chinese Dream”

On November 17, 2025, teacher Sui Yue and student Samatov Temirbay from Xidian University conducted an online lecture for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” and “Regional Studies” programs in the Department of Russian and Eurasian Integration. The lecture topic was “Follow Your Chinese Dream.” The speakers discussed admission opportunities to universities in China, the launch of registration for the fifth scholarship program of the Embassies of China and Kyrgyzstan, and answered students’ questions in detail.

Sulaiman-Too as a Sacred Heritage of Central Asia: Guest Lecture for IRDD Students

A guest lecture was organized for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” specialty of the Department of Russian and Eurasian Integration on the topic “Sulaiman-Too — Sacred Heritage in the Heart of Central Asia: History, Culture, and Its Role in the UNESCO Protection System.” The lecture focused on the historical, cultural, and international significance of Sulaiman-Too as an important World Heritage site.

Working Trip to Korea: Academic Partnership in Busan and Gwangju Expands

From October 31 to November 7, 2025, lecturers led by Associate Professor D. A. Akmatova, Head of the Department of Russian and Eurasian Integration, took part in a working trip to Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, and the Yeosu Islands. During meetings with the leadership of Kyungnam College of Information & Technology and Gwangju University, the expansion of academic mobility, dual-degree programs, and joint scientific research was discussed. The delegation also met with students studying under mobility programs. Gwangju University announced the allocation of 100,000 US dollars to a support fund for students from Kyrgyzstan.

Fake Information in International Relations: Guest Lecture by a Professor of Tambov State University

On April 2, 2026, Professor N. Yu. Zhukovskaya of Tambov State University delivered a lecture at HSEIP for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” program on the topic “Fake Information in International Relations.” The lecture examined the main mechanisms of disinformation dissemination, its role in contemporary international processes, and its influence on the formation of foreign policy decisions and public opinion.
