On January 15, 2025, a scientific seminar on “Writing and Publishing an Article in SCOPUS” was held at Batken State University under the leadership of Vice-Rector Professor M. D. Aidarova. Participants received detailed information about article structure, publication standards, work with sources, and publication opportunities in SCOPUS, RSCI, and Web of Science. Certificates were awarded at the end of the seminar.

Students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” and “Regional Studies” programs participated. The speaker was former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, diplomat, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Professor Alikbek Jekshenkulovich Jekshenkulov.
Week of Guest Lectures: Korea’s Development and Information Security
From September 16 to 20, 2024, a week of guest lectures was held at the Higher School of International Educational Programs. Professor Kim Gap Yong, Vice-Rector for External Affairs at Gwangju University in the Republic of Korea, gave lectures on the reasons behind Korea’s development. Students of the Regional Studies and International Relations and Digital Diplomacy programs actively participated in the discussions.
Professor Gulzat Kochkorbaevna Omurbekova, Candidate of Technical Sciences from the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after Batyraly Sydykov, also delivered a guest lecture on “Information Security while Working on the Internet.” The session raised highly relevant issues of digital and information security.
From Traditional to Digital Diplomacy: Guest Lecture by Chyngyz Aidarbekov
Member of the Jogorku Kenesh Chyngyz Aidarbekov delivered a guest lecture for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” program at Osh State University’s Higher School of International Educational Programs. The lecture was titled “Modern Diplomacy: The Transition from Traditional to Digital Diplomacy through the Example of Kyrgyzstan.” He shared practical diplomatic experience, discussed current trends in international relations and digitalization, and answered students’ questions.
Online Lecture “Follow the Chinese Dream”
On November 17, 2025, lecturer Sui Yue and student Samatov Temirbai from Xidian University delivered an online lecture for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” and “Regional Studies” programs. The topic was “Follow the Chinese Dream.” The speakers discussed opportunities for admission to Chinese universities, the opening of registration for the fifth scholarship program of the Embassies of China and Kyrgyzstan, and answered students’ questions.

The lecture focused on the historical, cultural, and international significance of Sulaiman-Too as an important world heritage site.
Business Trip to Korea: Academic Partnership Expands in Busan and Gwangju
From October 31 to November 7, 2025, faculty members led by Associate Professor D. A. Akmatova visited Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, and Yeosu in the Republic of Korea. Meetings with the leadership of Kyungnam Jeongbo University and Gwangju University focused on strengthening academic mobility, dual-degree programs, and joint research. The delegation also met with students currently studying through mobility programs. Gwangju University announced the allocation of USD 100,000 to a support fund for students from Kyrgyzstan.
Fake News in International Relations: Guest Lecture by a Professor of Tambov State University
On April 2, 2026, Professor N. Yu. Zhukovskaya of Tambov State University delivered a lecture at the Higher School of International Educational Programs for students of the “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” program on the topic “Fake News in International Relations.” The lecture examined the main mechanisms of disinformation dissemination, its role in contemporary international processes, and its influence on foreign policy decision-making and public opinion.
