Goals of the Basic Educational Program (BEP)
1. Educational Goal:
To provide comprehensive and high-quality training of Bachelors in the field of Physics-Mathematics education (Physics profile), capable of effectively applying modern educational technologies in their professional activities.
2. Pedagogical (Moral) Goal:
To develop students′ socio-personal qualities: purposefulness, organization, responsibility, citizenship, communicativeness, and tolerance. To enhance their general culture and their drive for self-realization and self-improvement within the framework of continuous education and lifelong learning.
Learning Outcomes
A graduate who has mastered the BEP will:
1. Possess an integrated system of scientific knowledge about the world, including the essence and role of fundamental physical laws and theories, and the connection between physics and technology. Be able to evaluate this knowledge, express personal views on its development, participate in scientific research, and maintain an active civic position while demonstrating tolerance and logical clarity in communication.
2. Master fundamental methods of information management and computer tools; be capable of professional reflection and self-assessment; understand the necessity of continuous improvement of teaching and methodological skills. Be able to adapt to labor market changes and utilize entrepreneurial knowledge in professional activities.
3. Know the main provisions of school education standardization in the Kyrgyz Republic; be able to plan and analyze the teaching process for school physics; design various types of lessons according to current curricula using interactive forms and methods of teaching.
4. Conduct school physics experiments according to requirements; be ready to use modern IT for video demonstrations and computer modeling. Be able to solve problems in university and school physics, prepare students for Olympiads, and organize extracurricular activities focused on physics and technology.
5. Demonstrate psychological-pedagogical competence and be ready to apply research results in education; predict and monitor learning outcomes; and create optimal pedagogical conditions for personality-oriented teaching and sustainable development.
6. Understand the social significance of the future profession; be interested in scientific research in physics-mathematics education; be capable of creating conditions for individuals or groups to achieve professional goals and identifying cultural-educational issues in the field of physics.
