“FINANCE AND BANKING” The Department of Finance and Banking is an educational and production unit consisting of faculty members focused on general educational, scientific and methodological activities in education in the field of economics in the field of finance and banking. The Department of Finance and Banking is an educational and structural unit of the Financial and Legal College of Osh State University.

In the 2006-2007 academic year, in accordance with the Resolution of the Academic Council No. 6, based on the order of the rector No. 40 dated 13.02.2007, a cycle of disciplines “professional education” was opened and served by the relevant departments of the faculties of business and management, finance and economics.

In 2009, in order to fully conduct the educational process in the specialties "Finance", "Economics and Accounting", the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Professional Education Cycle was established, senior lecturer Zh. Asilbek kyzy was appointed head of the department. In the 2013-2014 academic year, the department served 4 specialties, due to the increase in the number of students and the volume of academic workload, it was divided into the following two departments:

Ø “Finance and Banking; ”;

Ø “Accounting and Taxation; ”;

Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor N. Zh. Isakov was appointed head of the Department of Finance and Banking. .

Since July 2019, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Abdrakhmanov Oenbek Emilovich successfully passed the competitive elections to the Academic Council of Osh State University and was appointed to the position of head of the Department of Finance and Banking. The department continued its activities in the specialties 080106 - "Finance (by industry)", 080108 - "Banking". 080106 –

In accordance with the provisions of the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "On institutions of secondary vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic" dated February 3, 2004 No. 53, on the basis of the order of Osh State University dated September 10, 2020 No. R-24 On amendments to the structural divisions of the College of Finance and Law, the Department of Finance and Banking was transformed into a subject cyclic commission on finance and banking (SCC). Based on the same order, a department of finance and banking was opened as part of the subject cyclic commissions on finance and banking, natural science, which is currently headed by PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Abdrakhmanov Oenbek Emilovich.
