
In the 2004-2005 academic year, a Financial and Juridical college was established as part of the Juridical faculty of the distance learning department of Osh State University. Based on the decision of the Academic Council of OshSU, protocol № 4, dated January 30, 2006, the Juridical college was transformed into the Finance and Juridical College.
In accordance with the decision of the State Inspection for Licensing and Accreditation under the Ministry of Education and Science (protocol № 8-07, dated September 26, 2006), the Finance and Juridical College was granted license № 352.
Based on the decision of the Academic Council (protocol №6, dated February 2, 2007) and the rector’s order (order № 40, dated February 13, 2007), a department for professional and general education disciplines was established.
The OshSU administration allocated a Educational building located at 271A Shakirov Street, necessary repairs were carried out in the classrooms, the material and technical base was improved, computer labs were equipped, and all conditions were created for the educational process.
Currently, the specialties of “Economics and Accounting”, “Finance and Credit”, “Taxation and tax administration”, “Banking”, Jurisprudence” , “Law Enforcement”, “Management Documentation and Archiving”, and «Expertise of Goods and Consumer Goods Quality” are available. Students are admitted based on the 9th and 11th grades, with education lasting 2 years 10 months and 1 year 10 months, respectively.
In the 2006-2008 academic years, the director of the college was T.А. Atantaev, a candidate of economic sciences. In the 2008-2009 academic year, the director was Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences T.А. Akmatova. In the 2009-2010 academic year, the director was Associate Professor, Candidate of Economic Sciences T.K. Erkebaev. From 2010 to 2013, the college was led by Associate Professor, Candidate of Economic Sciences M.Zh. Aybashev. From March 2013 to 2020, the director was Tanavar Akmatovna Akmatova. Since January 30, 2020, the director has been Nurgazy Zholbolduevich Isakov, a candidate of economic sciences. He is contributing to the development and growth of the college and society as a whole.
Currently, the Financial and Legal College has six Subject Cycle Commissions, which train specialists in the following fields:

6. Finance and credit
7. Theology
