Annotation of the internship program in the curriculum
9.1. Science - research practice
Abstract: ПPractical training is conducted to develop skills in research activities and to consolidate theoretical knowledge among master′s students. It aims to systematize, expand, and synthesize their professional knowledge, and to develop their ability to independently carry out scientific research, investigations, and experiments.
Максаты: а Having practical experience in researching current scientific problems, as well as collecting the necessary materials for the completion of the master′s thesis.
НББПдагы орду: Included in the internship and research work section, 9 credits.
Кыскача мазмуну: Scientific research practice is implemented in the form of conducting research within the framework of the approved master′s thesis topic.
The research topic is defined as an independent part of scientific research work within the scientific directions of the graduating departments.
Based on the Republic of Kazakhstan′s BB (Basic Curriculum) and IM (Individual plan), the content of the internship is determined by the head of the master′s program, and individual scientific research tasks are assigned to the intern for practical work.
During the internship, the master′s student’s work is organized as work on the master′s thesis, including: selecting the topic, identifying the research problem, object, and subject; formulating the research goal and objectives; conducting a theoretical analysis of literature and studies related to the problem; collecting necessary sources on the topic; creating a bibliography; formulating the hypothesis; choosing the research base; defining the research methods; conducting experiments; analyzing experimental data; and writing the research results. Initially, students work with primary sources such as monographs, abstracts, and dissertation studies, and consult with scientific supervisors and instructors.
During the internship period, the master′s student must define and specify the research focus of their master′s thesis, develop the topic, and coordinate it with the program supervisor.
The main component of scientific research practice is collecting and studying materials and statistical data, analyzing information relevant to the topic, and verifying the obtained results.
During the internship, the master′s student′s activities are carried out in the following stages:
I stage – Study of theoretical problems within the framework of the master′s degree program:
- selection and justification of the research topic;
-creating a calendar plan for conducting the research;
-Conducting research, including setting objectives and specific issues, formulating a working hypothesis, analyzing and summarizing domestic and international literature related to the research topic.
-creating a bibliography on the topic of scientific research work;
- Learning the structure of an institution or organization.
The calendar plan consists of a research scheme and a list of tasks created within the framework of the planned research.
The calendar plan is created by the master′s student under the guidance of the internship (master′s thesis) supervisor.
II stage – Study of the practice of the activities of institutions and organizations corresponding to the topic of the master′s thesis:
-Determining the object and subject of the research;
- Collect and interpret data on the subject of research;
- Reading and learning about certain aspects of the problem under consideration;
- Statistical and mathematical processing of information;
- Analyze scientific literature using various methods of accessing information (visiting libraries, working on the Internet);
- Implementation of appropriate information systems;
- Filling the developed systems with real data;
- Creating output forms;
- Formulation of the results of the research conducted and its coordination with the supervisor of the master′s thesis.
III stage – final stage.
This stage is the final stage of the internship and is where the undergraduate student summarizes the materials collected in accordance with the internship program; determines its sufficiency and effectiveness.
The following expected results are obtained from the practice:
- Knowledge of the basic principles of research methodology and its application when working on the selected topic of the master′s thesis ability to use;
- Ability to use modern methods of collecting, analyzing, and processing scientific information.
The practice report, signed by the supervisor, is submitted to the master′s program supervisor.
During the scientific-research internship, the master′s student:
Literary and patent sources related to the topic to be used in the preparation of the master′s thesis.
- Methods of conducting experimental work and research;
- Rules for the operation of research facilities;
- Methods of analyzing and processing experimental data;
- Creation of physical and mathematical models of phenomena and processes related to the research object;
- Software tools related to the professional field, as well as informational technologies used in scientific research.
- Principles of organizing computer networks and information systems.
- Requirements for the preparation of scientific and technical documents must study and learn;
Must do the following::
- Analyze, systematize, and summarize scientific and technical data on the research topic;
- Conduct theoretical or experimental research within the framework of the problem;
- Analysis of the reliability of the results obtained;
- Comparison of research results with domestic and foreign analogues;
- Analyze the scientific and practical significance of the research conducted.
- During the scientific research practice, the master′s student reveals the topic of the master′s thesis, justifies it according to the purpose, condenses the necessary materials, and develops example problems.

Abstract: The practice is conducted to restore practical skills of master′s students and to consolidate theoretical knowledge. During the practice, students reinforce and deepen their theoretical knowledge, and develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to independently solve informational, managerial, and methodological issues within the educational institution..
Purpose: The formation of master′s students includes developing technological skills related to production activities and communicative skills that reflect interpersonal interactions among people.
Position in the NBBP: Practices and scientific research activities are included in this section, totaling 9 credits.
Summary: The master′s student′s industrial practice is carried out in the form of designing information systems, taking into account the interests and capabilities of the organization where the practice is conducted, within the framework of the approved master′s thesis topic.
The research topic is defined as an independent part of scientific research within the framework of the scientific direction of the graduating department. Based on the Republic of Kyrgyzstan’s BB and IM regulations, the master’s program supervisor determines the content of the intern’s work, and individual tasks are assigned for the industrial practice.
During the practice, the master′s student′s work is organized as work on the master′s thesis, including: selecting the topic, identifying the research problem, object, and subject; formulating the research aim and issues; conducting a theoretical analysis of literature and studies related to the problem, collecting necessary sources on the topic; creating a bibliography; formulating the research hypothesis; selecting the research base; identifying the research methods; conducting experiments; analyzing experimental data; and writing the research findings.
Master′s students initially work with primary sources, monographs, standards, and descriptions of information systems, consulting with their scientific supervisors and instructors.
During the practice, the master′s student′s activities are characterized by the development of strategic thinking, the ability to analyze and respond to situational situations, and the formation of skills to manage groups of people. Additionally, the practice aids in the student′s personal socialization process, contributing to mastering new industrial activities, social norms, professional values, and also shaping the individual work culture of future master′s graduates.
Collecting and analyzing materials related to the scientific research topic, processing statistical data, and validating the obtained results are the main components of the content of industrial practice.
In practice, the activities of a master′s student are carried out in the following stages:
I stage– Within the framework of the master′s training program, the investigation of theoretical problems involves:
- Choosing and justifying a research topic;
-Creating a practice calendar;
-Defining the objectives and specific issues, formulating a working hypothesis, and conducting a critical analysis and generalization of domestic and international works related to the master′s research topic.
- Developing the relevant information systems.
A calendar plan consists of the research scheme and a list of tasks created within the framework of the planned study.
The calendar plan for the practice (or master′s thesis) is developed by the master′s student under the supervision of the supervisor.
II этабы – Studying the practice of an institution or organization whose activities align with the topic of the master′s thesis.
- Identify the object and subject of the study;
-Collecting and analyzing information on the subject of research;
-Reading and learning about certain aspects of the problem under consideration;
- Statistical and mathematical processing of information;
