Participation of the department in the Spartakiads

On March 25–26, 2026, Professor Kenzhaev I.G. and Associate Professor of the TOMiOM Department Omorov Sh. participated as part of the national team of the Kyrgyz Republic in an international billiards tournament held in the city of Shymkent, where the team secured 1st place.

On December 29, 2025, the Trade Union Committee of Osh State University honored university staff who participated in the faculty sports competitions (spartakiads). Associate Professor D. Ch. Kultaeva and Senior Lecturer E. T. Avazova were awarded certificates for their participation in the women’s volleyball and basketball spartakiad competitions.

On December 12, 2025, guides of the excursion group — Omorov Sh., Kultaeva D., and Avazova E. — participated in volleyball and basketball competitions in the “40+” category.

On February 23, 2025, the Trade Union Committee of Osh State University organized a billiards tournament among the university’s teaching staff in the “45+” category to mark Defenders of the Fatherland Day. The winners of the tournament were Professor I. G. Kenjaev from the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Technology and Information Technologies (second place) and Associate Professor Sh. D. Tomiom Omorov (third place).

At the end of the women’s volleyball competition, four prizes were awarded, and winners were determined in the following categories: “Best Defender,” “Best Attacker,” “Best Team Captain,” and “Best Player.”

On February 22, 2025, a women’s volleyball tournament was held at IMFTIT. Five teams and 30 instructors from the institute participated in the event. Four awards were presented, and the winners were determined in the following categories: “Best Defender,” “Best Attacker,” “Best Team Captain,” and “Best Player.” The tournament was organized by the Department of MIOT and BBE.

The women’s basketball team in the “40+” category was awarded second place in the basketball competition at the OSH State University SCOP Spartakiad. Associate Professor D. Ch. Kultaeva from the Department of TOMiOM was a member of the team.

On May 28, a women’s volleyball competition was held at the MIT Faculty, in which the department members D. Ch. Kultaev, E. T. Avazov, and A. Raimzhanov participated.

On December 8, 2023, D. Kultaeva and K. Sooronbaeva participated in a volleyball competition.

On the second day of the Spartakiad, E. Avazova, K. Sooronbaeva, and D. Kultaeva from the Department of TOMiOM participated in the 40− and 40+ categories.

ОшМУ тарабынан уюштурулган кышкы спартакиадада кафедранын окутуучусу Авазова Э.Т. ОшМУнун кышкы спартакиадасына МИТ факультетинин баскетбол командасынын курамында катышты. Команда ардактуу 3-орунду ээледи.

В зимней спартакиаде, организованной ОшГУ, преподаватель кафедры Авазова Э. Т. участвовала в зимней спартакиаде ОшГУ в составе сборной факультета МИТ по баскетболу. Команда заняла почетное 3 место.

УThe participants of the 2024 Spartakiad of IMFTIT won volleyball and basketball competitions against teams from other faculties and institutes. Associate Professor D. Kultaeva was a member of the sports teams.

On May 4, 2024, in honor of the 85th anniversary of Osh State University, a track and field marathon was held among the teaching staff and faculty members, with distances of 3, 5, and 10 km. Members of the department N. G. Nyshanova, A. Raimzhanova, and student A. Alimbaev took part in the marathon.

On February 24, 2024, a volleyball competition among female instructors was held at the sports complex of the Faculty of Physical Education. In addition, male participants aged 45+ took part in the billiards Spartakiad competition.

On February 14, 2024, in honor of Defenders of the Fatherland Day, a billiards competition was held among male instructors. In the 45+ category, Associate Professor Sh. Omorov from the department took first place, while in the under-45 category, Dolonbek Pakal uulu secured first place.

On February 10, a volleyball competition was held among the departments of the MIT Faculty. Department members D. Kultaeva, E. Avazova, and A. Raimzhanova participated in the event and secured second place.

On February 23, in honor of Defenders of the Fatherland Day, a billiards competition was held among the профессордук-окутуучулук курам aged 45 and above, in which Associate Professor Sh. D. Omorov took first place.

Senior Lecturer U. B. Tagaev from the department participated in the Osh State University Winter Spartakiad as a member of the MIT Faculty team in chess and secured an honorable second place.

We congratulate the Osh State University team on winning first place in chess at the inter-university competition called “Health,” held in the city of Osh!

On November 4–5, a tournament was held to mark the 70th birthday of Ishenbek Zhakypbekov, President of the Billiards Federation of Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of Osh State University, Professor I. G. Kenjaev and Associate Professor Sh. D. Omorov, participated in the 60+ category, and the Osh team secured second place. A total of 38 participants competed in the 60+ category.

Within the framework of the Year of a Healthy Lifestyle and in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Dinara Chokoevna Kultaeva and Elnura Toktogulovna Avazova participated in a swimming competition held among female instructors of Osh State University.

In the winter sports contest organized by Osh State University, the teacher of the department Avazova E. T. participated in the winter sports days of Osh State University as part of the basketball team of the MIT faculty. The team took an honorable 3rd place.
