On the basis of the decision of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Medicine of Osh State University (Minutes No7, 31.05.2002), approved by the Big Academic Council of Osh State University with the permission of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic and by the order of the Rector of Osh State University (01.07.2002), an educational and medical center was opened at the Faculty of Medicine. On December 29, 2003, by the decision of the Academic Council of Osh State University, the educational and medical center was renamed into a medical school at Osh State University. The medical school was located on the first floor of the Faculty of Applied Physics and was headed by senior lecturer Umetaliev Myrzaaly Torobaevich. In August 2003, he was transferred to Dormitory No5 of Osh State University. From 2003 to 2012 academic years, the medical college was headed by Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Berkmamatov Shamirbek Toktosunovich, under whom the department found its educational building, a morphological building was opened. The appearance of the educational building has been put in order. Admission of students to the college on the basis of the 9th grade has begun. Specialties in the educational, pharmaceutical and dental areas were opened. Students are provided with a dormitory. At the disposal of students there was a library with 16 thousand books and a reading room. - Each teacher has his own office, which is equipped with a heating system. The college has opened offices close to the clinical model: resuscitation, operating room, reception procedure, first aid for a child, dentist′s laboratories and a physiotherapy room - The rooms are equipped with the necessary tools and simulators. - Computer classes with Internet connection have been opened in the building. Since February 15, 2012, the medical college has been headed by Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Attokurov Kursantbek Sharabidinovich Currently, each department is equipped with the necessary org. Technique. Special attention is paid to the educational work and creative interests of students. The educational institution was registered with the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture on 10.10.2003. No923/1 and carries out its activities on the basis of the Law "On Education of the Kyrgyz Republic" and its Charter. According to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, a medical college is a legal entity. The educational institution is under the jurisdiction of Osh State University, which performs the function of the founder. On the basis of the orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic No487/1 of August 7, 2008 "On the renaming of secondary vocational educational institutions" and the rector of Osh State University No913 of October 31, 2008, the medical school at Osh State University was renamed into a medical college. In 2002, 92 students were enrolled in three specialties, at present about 3000 students are studying at the college. The medical college employs 195 teachers, including 17 candidates of sciences, 7 associate professors, 38 senior teachers, 126 teachers The college was recognized as the winner at the international conference. faculty competition "Okutuuchular obon sozgondo", dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Osh State University, the college has 159 classrooms, 30 laboratories, 10 innovative rooms in the clinical building, 370 - a local canteen.
