A.U. Akhmetova, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Associate Professor at K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University, visited the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Technology, and Information Technologies of Osh State University. On March 31, 2026, an online meeting was held with specialists from the International Office of K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University, during which students were introduced to the university’s academic programs. The meeting was attended by bachelor’s and master’s students of the Physical and Mathematical Education and Educational Management programs, as well as faculty members of the TOMIiOM department: Keldibekova A.O., Avazova E., Sadykov Z., Kultaeva D., Mamyrgazy kyzy K., Isaeva A., Keldibekov E., and Dooranova N. The meeting was organized by the Head of the TOMIiOM department, A.O. Keldibekova.
On 02.04.2026, within the framework of academic mobility, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University A.U. Akhmetova delivered a guest lecture on the topic “Improper Integrals” for the teaching staff and bachelor’s students (groups FMO(b)-3-25r, FMO(b)-4-25a, FMO(b)-1-22, FMO(b)-2-22r) as well as master’s students (groups FMO(m)-1-25, FMO(m)-1-24, FMO(m)-2-24) of the “550200 Physical and Mathematical Education” program (profile: mathematics and informatics). The lecture was conducted in a hybrid format. Members of the TOMIiOM department attended the session: Keldibekova A.O., Sadykov Z.M., Mamyrgazy kyzy K., Keldibekov E.N., and Isaeva A.T.
The three-day visit of Kazakh colleagues from Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, Smagulov E.Zh., and from South Kazakhstan Research University, Altynbekov Sh.E., concluded with the awarding of certificates by the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Technology and Information Technologies (IMPTIT) and a tour of significant sites of Osh State University and the city.
On September 26, 2025, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor E.Zh. Smagulov from Zhetysu University of the Republic of Kazakhstan delivered a guest lecture titled “Professional Development: The Feasibility of Improving the Qualifications of a Mathematics Teacher” for master’s students of the programs 550200 Physical and Mathematical Education (profile: mathematics and informatics) and Educational Management. After the lecture, the professor conducted consultations for master’s students on writing master’s theses.
On September 13, 2025, Professor K.M. Torogel′dieva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences from the Department of Mathematics and Teaching Technology at KSU named after I. Arabaev, delivered a guest lecture on “Features of Modern Teaching Technologies in Mathematical Education” for 1st–4th year bachelor’s students of the 550200 Physical and Mathematical Education program (profile: mathematics and informatics).
In addition, Associate Professor Zh. Asanova, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences from the same department, delivered a guest lecture on “Application of Integral Calculations.”
On April 15, 2025, within the framework of academic mobility, Associate Professors of the TOMIiOM department Kultaeva D.Ch. and Omorov Sh.D., and Senior Lecturers Avazova E.T. and Sooronbaeva K.A. delivered guest lectures for students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Namangan State University and Namangan Pedagogical Institute on relevant topics: Kultaeva D.Ch. — “Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in Mathematics Education,” Omorov Sh.D. — “Modern Requirements for Sources of Knowledge,” Sooronbaeva K.A. — “Development of Tools for Forming Learning Outcomes,” and Avazova E.T. — “The Role of Information Technologies in the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals.”
“Computational Linguistics: Opportunities and Challenges of Automated Creation of Multilingual Text Corpora”
On November 29, a guest lecture dedicated to computational linguistics was held in the conference hall (room 201) of IMPTIT by PhD, Associate Professor Gulzhamal Kalman from Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, head of the “Zhas ғалым” project. The lecturer explained in detail the principles of computational linguistics and the possibilities of using Turkic-language words in various areas of computer automation. Special attention was paid to the grammar of Turkic words and their meanings.
Professor Sh. Aliev of the Kazakh National University named after I. Arabaev delivered a guest lecture on the topic “The Concept of 12-Year Education” at a meeting of the Interuniversity Scientific and Methodological Seminar.
