“International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” Program
The “International Relations and Digital Diplomacy” program actively develops partnerships with universities in both neighboring and distant foreign countries in accordance with the university’s priority development areas.
International activities are carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, international legal acts, university charters, bilateral and multilateral agreements with foreign educational institutions, and are aimed at the full integration of the university into the global educational and scientific community.
One of the priority areas of the Higher School of International Educational Programs at Osh State University is international cooperation in scientific and educational fields. The main areas of international activity include cooperation with foreign universities, the development of student academic mobility programs, and the implementation of major international scientific and educational projects.
Every year, efforts are made to expand academic mobility for students and faculty members. The Higher School continuously creates opportunities for students to better understand their chosen profession, become familiar with research materials conducted both within the Kyrgyz Republic and abroad, and study professional standards adopted in other countries.

Business Trip to Korea: Academic Partnership Expands in Busan and Gwangju
From October 31 to November 7, 2025, faculty members led by Associate Professor D. A. Akmatova, Head of the Department of Russia and Eurasian Integration, were on a working visit to Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, and other cities of the Republic of Korea, as well as the islands of Yeosu. On November 3, they held a meeting with the Rector of Kyungnam Jeongbo University in Busan and the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, and on November 5, they met with Kim Dong Jin, the Rector of Gwangju University. During these meetings, the parties discussed strengthening academic mobility for students and faculty, developing dual-degree programs, and conducting joint research projects. They also met with students currently studying there within the mobility program and learned about their academic progress and living conditions. In addition, Gwangju University announced that 100,000 US dollars had been allocated to a support fund for students from Kyrgyzstan.
