Practice and Career Center of Osh State University

The Practice and Career Center of Osh State University (OshSU) was established in 2002 after being separated from the Academic and Information Department and reorganized into the “University–School” Educational and Methodological Complex. From 2002 to 2005, it was headed by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor D. Babaev.

In 2005, the center was re-integrated as a department under the Academic and Information Department, and from 2005 to 2008 it was headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A. Dzhuraev.

According to the order of the commission on optimizing the organizational–administrative structure, staff schedule, and structural units of Osh State University dated September 4, 2023, No. 4062-ФХД/23 (effective from September 9, 2023) , the departments of industrial practice, pedagogical practice, and career development were merged into a single entity named “Practice and Career Center.”

From its establishment until September 1, 2025, the center was headed by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor T. Matikeev. Currently, the center is directed by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor M. D. Babaev.

About the Center

The “Practice and Career” Center of Osh State University is a structural division responsible for organizing and overseeing all types of student internships and maintaining close cooperation with university graduates. The Center operates under the supervision of the Rector and the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Osh State University.
