More than ten instructors are improving their qualifications in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence
15 instructors from the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technologies of Osh State University are enhancing their knowledge in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence.
On June 23, Vice Rector for Research and Innovations Elzarbek Esharov and Institute Director Bektur Azimov visited to review the progress of the educational process.
The training is conducted at the Next Generation Hub of Osh State University. It is delivered by engineers from the leading Chinese company Hyubo Robotics and experienced professors from Jiamusi University. Instructors who successfully complete the course will have the opportunity to work anywhere in the world where Hyubo Robotics robots are installed. In addition, they will be able to share their experience as master trainers in qualification courses held in other countries.

Osh State University has renewed the memorandum of cooperation with Kyrgyz National University
Today, on April 3, a delegation led by Dogdurbek Chontoev, Rector of the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn in Bishkek, visited Osh State University.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured the “Central Asia Satellite Analysis and Remote Sensing Center” and the “Central Asia Critical Minerals Innovation Center” located within Osh State University’s “Next Generation Hub.” They became familiar with the centers’ activities and ongoing research work. The delegation also reviewed the university’s information and communication infrastructure on site and learned about its capabilities.
During the meeting with structural leaders headed by the Rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov, information was presented on the digitalization initiatives being implemented at the university. The parties discussed joint activities and cooperation opportunities. As part of the meeting, a bilateral memorandum of cooperation was renewed in the areas of education, research, international relations, and academic mobility.
“This visit was an important step aimed at deepening cooperation between Osh State University and Kyrgyz National University. Both institutions are among the universities in the country that have been granted special status. Today, we provided the delegation from Kyrgyz National University with comprehensive information about the reform initiatives being implemented at Osh State University within this special status framework. We also became familiar with the work being carried out at KNU. Through joint cooperation, we have developed several plans to train specialists who will contribute to the development of Kyrgyzstan’s economy. In addition, joint activities in the field of the 12-year education system are also planned,” said Kozhobekov.

Osh State University has launched the training of specialists in robotics
Osh State University, China’s Jiamusi Institute, and Huibo Robotics signed a tripartite cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony took place on August 22 at Osh State University. The meeting was attended by Rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov with relevant structural leaders, Huibo Robotics Vice President Cui Xiaohui with company representatives, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiamusi Vocational Institute Yang Xiangjun with delegates.
Rector Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov stated that, together with the company, the “Next Generation Hub” was opened on May 31, and today, as part of the second phase of these initiatives, the training of bachelor’s degree students in Mechatronics and Robotics has begun. Considering the current relevance of this specialty, the state has allocated 50 grant-funded places this year.
Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiamusi Vocational Institute, Yang Xiangjun:
“We are proud of our institution’s cooperation with Osh State University. In the future, we will jointly implement a number of projects with your university. Together with the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technologies of Osh State University, we will discuss curricula and work collaboratively. Additionally, there will be faculty exchanges and reciprocal teaching activities. In the future, there are also proposals to implement academic mobility programs with faculties that align in both universities,” he stated.
At the end of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed. In the afternoon, the guests toured the “Next Generation Hub.” The “Next Generation Hub” serves as a laboratory base combining education, science, and practical experience in artificial intelligence, robotics, and information technologies.

Chinese experts conducted robotics training for Osh State University instructors
Fifteen instructors from the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technologies underwent training conducted by specialists from China. Two engineers came from HUIBO company, located in Suzhou, while the other three are instructors from Jiamusi Technical Institute.
The training took place from October 27 to November 8 at Osh State University’s “Next Generation Hub.” At the end of the course, the institute’s instructors completed training in programming and robotics and received an international certificate.
Now they are able to teach students of the Mechatronics and Robotics program as well as conduct lessons in specialized robotics courses. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to work at factories and plants where HUIBO robots are installed.

Osh State University has opened the "Central Asia Satellite Analysis and Remote Sensing Center"
On February 3, Osh State University inaugurated the “Central Asia Satellite Analysis and Remote Sensing Center.” The ceremony was attended by the university’s faculty headed by Rector Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov, as well as scientists from abroad and other regions of the country.
This facility is being opened for the first time in Kyrgyzstan as a satellite center. It is located within the university’s “Next Generation Hub.” The center collects data using satellites and conducts scientific research. It is currently equipped with modern specialized equipment. The center provides opportunities to work on international projects and attract investments. It also offers conditions for conducting scientific research.
The center is being established to train specialists in this field in Kyrgyzstan in the future.
“Through this center, researchers, scientists, and PhD students conduct studies ranging from ordinary terrain to high mountainous areas. Working with the data database is essential for these studies. Using the center, scientists will be able to utilize satellite-derived data to conduct scientific research on climate change,” said Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov.
Within the project, permission has been granted to access several international databases. Currently, cooperation is ongoing with more than 25 well-known satellite agencies from the USA, Japan, China, Korea, and European countries. The center also carries out scientific activities together with global centers.

The U.S. Ambassador Visits the Satellite Analysis and Remote Sensing Center at OshSU
Today, September 6, Leslie Wigert, the U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, visited Osh State University. She toured the university′s "Central Asia Satellite Analysis and Remote Sensing" center. The event was attended by university leadership, including Rector Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov, scientists, and research staff.
Professor Islamidin Tashpolotov delivered a presentation on the "Technology for Extracting Critical Elements from Industrial Waste." The discussion focused on ways to leverage the scientific capabilities of the center. Meanwhile, Professor Erkin Mirmakhmudov provided scientific insights on "Using Data for Geodesy and Digital Terrain Modeling in the Fergana Valley Region."
The meeting aimed to strengthen U.S.–Kyrgyzstan scientific and technical cooperation, jointly study pressing issues in Central Asia, and implement future projects. At the end of the visit, the ambassador thanked the university leadership, noting that such scientific centers make a significant contribution to digital development in the Central Asian region, and that American companies are interested in participating in joint projects. During the visit, she also familiarized herself with the activities of the "Next Generation Hub" center.

Rector of Pamukkale University, Mahmud Güngör, Visits OshSU
Pamukkale University in Turkey is interested in strengthening ties with Osh State University (OshSU) and exploring new horizons for cooperation. This was stated by the university′s rector, Mahmud Güngör, during his meeting with OshSU Rector Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov on October 11.
The parties discussed enhancing partnership in the field of education and expanding academic relations. Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov delivered a presentation on OshSU. Afterwards, the delegation led by Mahmud Güngör toured the university′s "Next Generation Hub" center, medical clinic, and Faculty of Theology.
The delegation, led by Mahmud Güngör, also participated in the ongoing Third International Sarakhsi Symposium. Currently, OshSU maintains close collaboration with 25 universities in Turkey.

Forum Participants Got Acquainted with OshSU
"OshSU′s ′Lomonosov′ Center will serve as a driving force for further development of cooperation in science and education," said Vladimir Sipyagin, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, during the visit of participants of the III Forum of the "Eurasian Network University" consortium to the center.
The guests also visited the university′s Business Park and Medical Clinic, where they explored modern medical equipment, operating units, and laboratories. They observed new opportunities in the fields of surgery, transplantology, and cardiology available at the clinic.
The delegation paid special attention to the International Medical Faculty, where thousands of students from India and other countries are currently pursuing their education.

Chinese Scientists Interested in Implementing Research Projects at OshSU
Scientists from Shihezi University in China, Mao Xu and Wu Chao, are interested in implementing projects at OshSU focused on the automation and robotization of agricultural machinery, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in this field.
For this reason, they arrived at the university today, November 6, on a special working visit. The guests first familiarized themselves with the university′s "Next Generation Hub" center. There, they delivered a presentation to OshSU faculty members about the opportunities offered by new technologies and shared the results of their research.
They also met with Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ruslan Arapbaev and Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursantbek Attokurov. The parties discussed establishing scientific cooperation and opportunities for joint research. In addition, they considered the implementation of trilateral projects together with Huibo Robotics, a Chinese company that is a partner of the "Next Generation Hub" center.

An Online Conference on the Relevance of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Was Held for Students
Today, OshSU students attended an online conference titled "The Relevance of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence," delivered by our compatriot Askar Sulaimanov, a machine learning engineer working in London.
During the conference, valuable information was presented on the current role of artificial intelligence and robotics, future opportunities and career prospects, as well as the knowledge and skills required to succeed in this field.
