AUTOMATED SYSTEMS AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

History of the Department

The Department of Automated Systems and Digital Technologies (ASDT) was originally established as the “Programming” Department based on Protocol No. 8 of the Academic Council of Osh State University dated May 30, 2001, and Rector’s Order No. 121 dated June 1, 2001.

On December 8, 2004, in accordance with Rector’s Order No. 265-A of Osh State University, the department was renamed and reorganized as the Department of «Information Technologies and Automated Systems» (ITAS).

The ITAS Department was restructured as the Department of ′Automated Systems and Digital Technologies′ on the basis of Protocol No. 1 of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies dated August 28, 2020, and Rector’s Order No. 127 dated September 17, 2020.

Since its establishment, the department has been headed by Associate Professors, Candidates of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Kybiraev Abydakal Omorovich, Osmonaliev Abdikamil Burkanovich, Chamashev Marat Kakarovich, and Moldoyarov Ularbek Duyshobekovich.

Since August 28, 2023, the Department of “Automated Systems and Digital Technologies” has been headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kuduev Altynbek Zhalilbekovich.

Aim of the department: To train innovative and competitive IT specialists and to improve the quality of education through the use of digital technologies.

Mission of the department: To foster a new mindset in society through the dissemination of IT technologies and the joint creation of a digital future.
