Educational and Methodological Activities

At the department, scientific research activities are carried out in two main directions:

Direction 1: Development of textbooks adapted for teaching mathematics in higher educational institutions as a means of mastering professional specialties Research activities in this direction are conducted under the supervision of Associate Professor M.Sh. Mamayusupov. A five-volume series of books entitled “Higher Mathematics” is analyzed. Extensive discussions are held with the participation of the authors, academic staff, and students. Based on this, shortened versions adapted for “natural science” and “humanitarian” specialties, studying mathematics up to 6 credits, have been developed and recommended for wide use in both electronic and printed formats. (They are posted on the websites of Osh State University and www.okuma.kg.)

Direction 2: “Differential Equations” Scientific research in this area is carried out by Candidates of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professors U. Sopuev and T. Chinkaraev.

Associate Professor of the department D. Kedeybaeva participated in a conference held at the Eurasian National University in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Currently, a lecturer of the department, A. Abdukaimova, has applied to the postgraduate program and is conducting scientific research on her research topic.
