History of the department

History


The Department of Mathematical Analysis was founded in 1971 on the basis of the Department of "Higher Mathematics": M. Abdyldaev, G. Mamaturduev, T. Chinkaraev, A. Papikov, S. Karimov, R. Tairov, A. Apiev.

The Department of Mathematical Analysis employed teachers who began their career at this department and made a significant contribution to the development of the university and the faculty in different periods: Honored Educator of the Kyrgyz Republic, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor S.A. Abdykalykov, who served as Vice-Rector for Research in 1978–1988, and served as Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics in 1969–1978 and 1988–1999, contributing to the enhancement of the scientific and pedagogical potential of the faculty; Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the KR, Honored Scientist of the KR, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor K.A. Department members, 2018

In 1971–1972, the department was headed by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor M. Abdyldaev. Then in 1972–1973, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor T. Chinkaraev served as Acting Head of the Department. In 1974–1976, the department was led by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor G. Mamaturduev. From 1977 to 2018, for many years, the department was successfully led by Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor S.K. Karimov — the leader of a scientific school in the field of singularly perturbed differential equations, who made a huge contribution to the development of the department and promoted the growth of pedagogical skills and scientific research of the teachers.


From October 23, 2018, to May 2021, the department was headed by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor A.K. Toigonbaeva.








Since May 2021, the duties of the Head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis have been performed by senior lecturer Akmatov Abdilaziz Alievich.

Since September 3, 2024, the Department of Mathematical Analysis has been headed by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor A.A. Abdilazizova.
