On May 16, 2025 representatives of the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages - PhD Toshboyeva Barnokhon, doctoral student Dadokhonova Mokhlorayim and Khojamberdieva Hilolakhon - gave a guest lecture on the topic “Clinical Linguistics and its Role in English Communication” for the students of Osh State University International Medical Faculty group of GM2-5-24 and GM2-6-24. The main goal of the event was to explain to students the place of clinical linguistics in the field of medicine and introduce them to new concepts aimed at improving professional communication in English. During the lecture, guest experts explained in detail the basic concepts of clinical linguistics, its role and importance in communicating in English. Theoretical information was reinforced with practical examples, and students actively participated in a question-and-answer format and received useful information. The event was very interesting and useful for students, increasing their interest in learning the language.
