On February 15, the Russian and English language cycles held an event dedicated to the International Mother Language Day and the 85th anniversary of the founding of Osh State University. The event was attended by the head of the National Commission for the State Language, Almagul Tilekmanova, and the Vice-Rector for the State Language and Social Work of Osh State University, Mastura Sharipova. Students of CIEP, STEM, medical college, and Fyuk showed performances in Kyrgyz, Russian, English, German, Chinese and Korean. National dances of different nations were presented, songs were performed and an excerpt from the epic "Manas" was read.
