OLYMPIAD IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AT THE FACULTY OF RUSSIAN PHILOLOGY OSH State University

From December 18 to December 21, 2023, a RUSSIAN LANGUAGE WEEK was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Rasul Gamzatov. On December 18, the first round of the Olympics took place. First-year students of Osh State University wrote an essay-reasoning on the topic: “The image of a woman in the works of Rasul Gamzatov.” On December 19, the 2nd round of the Russian Language Olympiad took place, where students completed tasks on vocabulary and grammar. 54 students took part in it. Based on the results of the 2nd round, only 11 students advanced to the 3rd round: the final 3rd round of the Olympiad took place on December 21. 11 students competed for the championship. The participants expressed their opinion about the role of knowledge of the Russian language in their lives. They demonstrated oral and written communication skills. The Olympiad tasks included: text enrichment, explanation of phraseological units and pronunciation of tongue twisters. The jury included: 1. Osmonkulova D.A. 2. Bolotakunova G.S. 3. Mamytova G.Z. On the same day, the results of the Russian Language Week were summed up. The winners and participants were awarded diplomas and gifts. As a result, the winners of the honorary 1st place were Kalmurzaeva Feruza - FRF, RA 2-23, Toktobek k. Bayan - FMO, MIMO 4-23; in 2nd place: Smanova Zhanara - FRF, RL(b) 3-23, Kadyrova Sabina - FRF, RA2-23, Saitbekova Ainazik - FMO, MIMO 1-23; 3rd place was awarded to students Vasilyeva Daria - FRF, RL(b) 1-23, Nuralieva Takhmina - FMNaiK, APR 1-23, Abykeeva Orungul - Oriental Studies, VA(b) 1-23.
