History of the Department

The Department of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology is one of the first departments of financial and juridical college.

In the 2007-2008 academic year, by the decision of the Academic Council of Osh State University on February 2, 2007, Protocol № 6 and on the basis of the order of the rector № 40 February 13, 2007. In the financial and juridical college was organized a cycle of general educational disciplines. The head of the cycle was appointed senior teacher Kaldybaeva Gulzhamal Abdazovna. The above cycle was presented for the teaching of natural and humanitarian disciplines for specialties in the direction of economics and jurisprudence.

In the 2007-2008 academic year, 29 people worked in the department. The teaching and methodical work of the department was conducted in two directions: the section of natural sciences and the section of the humanities. Among 29 teachers there were such advanced and experienced teachers as: Kadyrova A., Turganbaeva R., Abduraimov A., Karimova S., Umarova J. et al.

September 12, 2009 by order of the rector of Osh State University No. 472 the cycle of general education subjects was divided into two cycles: the cycle of general education disciplines of natural sciences and the cycle of general educational disciplines of the humanities.

In 2009 The cycle of general educational disciplines of the natural sciences was transformed into the chair of general education disciplines of the natural sciences and in the teaching staff of the department there were 12 teachers and 1 laboratory assistant, the head teacher was the senior teacher Kaldybaeva GA.

In the 2011-2011 academic year, the specialty "POVTAS" (code 2203) was opened in the chair of general science disciplines under the direction of G. Kaldybaeva. February 25, 2011 Decision №03 / 10, 25.02.2011, the license No.525 of the State Inspectorate for Licensing and Accreditation (Attestation) under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic was given the right to conduct educational activities (additionally No. 26, registration number I-758).

In the 2012-2013 academic year, the department included 19 teachers and 1 laboratory assistant. Now days, The head of the chair is G. Kaldybaeva. She is a candidate of the physicist of mathematical sciences, associate professor.
