General Information on the Theological College

According to the agreement between Osh State University and the Turkish “Diyanet” Foundation, the Faculty of Theology was opened on November 17, 1993. The Faculty of Theology is one of the first faculties opened in Central Asia.

The tasks of the faculty are to prepare personnel with higher education in accordance with the requirements of the present time in the sphere of religious education of the republic and, using new educational technologies and improving the quality of education, to prepare suitable specialists for the enlightment of the people through the correct spreading human values.

On the basis of these tasks, starting from 2017 to 2018 academic years, students are accepted and trained in the specialty ofsecondary specialized theological education under the Faculty of Theology. This program carries out educational activities on the basis of a license issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

For admission to the secondary specialized theological institution for this program, the applicant must receive a basic general or general secondary education and have a general certificate in secondary education or a certificate of completion of the educational process.

A Diploma of Completion of secondary special education is issued to the student who has successfully completed a program of secondary special education.
