On the basis of the order of the rector №2331 – ФХД/21 08.07.2021, the Department of Social Disciplines was established in the College of International Education Programs, and the head of the department J.A. Tashtanova was appointed. English language, Russian language and literature, Kyrgyz language and literature and history studies sections were created in this department. From September 2021 B.J. Amirakulova led the subject cycle commission of English language. From June 2022 №2577 – ФХД/21 08.07.2022. the department of public disciplines was abolished, each of them was called a separate subject cycle commission and came under the direct control of the directorate. B. J. Amirakulova, a teacher of the English department, has been leading the subject cycle commission of the English language until today.

           The English language department of the College of International Education Programs teaches the disciplines of English and Latin languages in the following colleges of Osh State University: Finance-legal, STEM innovative, industrial-pedagogical and medical colleges.                The subject cycle commission of the English language makes a significant contribution to the preparation of specialists with secondary professional education (in the above-mentioned college majors). The purpose of the English and Latin language disciplines taught at SCC: to form students′ communicative competence, to develop vocabulary, to expand their worldview, to teach communication on various topics, to teach the correct use of legal, medical, economic, pedagogical and technical terms in their professional activities. SCC consists of teachers with advanced and many years of experience. Today, in the academic year 2022-2023, 29 teachers work at SCC, three of them have awards of the best in education, 6 masters and 20 teachers.
