Department history

The Department of "Biochemistry, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology" was founded in 2000 under the guidance of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Chotoev Zh.A. Professor Zh. A. Chotoev paid great attention to strengthening the material and technical base and training young personnel when creating the department. The department included such disciplines as biochemistry, normal physiology, pathological physiology and pharmacology. In connection with the reorganization of the departments in 2001, the subject of normal physiology was transferred to the department of biomedical disciplines.

From 2002 to 2014, the department was headed by Associate Professor A.N. Nuradieva.

And from 2015 to September 6, 2016, he was supervised by Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Razzakov A.K. In the 2016-2017 academic year, the Department of Biochemistry, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology was divided into 2 departments and on the basis of Order No. 691 (09.09.2016) 1: the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines, which is headed by Associate Professor Razakov A.K.

The 2nd department was named "General, clinical biochemistry and pathophysiology". the head of the department was appointed Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor A.S. Mametov, who successfully worked from 2016 to 2022.

Department of "General, Clinical Biochemistry and Pathophysiology" for the 2nd half of the 2021-2022 academic year, on the basis of order No. 1229-FHD / 22 of 04/06/2022: since March 26, 2022, Ph.D., Associate Professor Zh. .T.

At this department, the disciplines of general and clinical biochemistry and pathophysiology serve the specialties "Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Dentistry" and "Pharmacology".

Currently, the department has 1 corresponding member, 3 doctors of science, 7 candidates of science, 3 senior teachers, 13 teachers and 1 laboratory assistant. The teachers of the department published 16 teaching aids and educational and methodical works, more than 300 scientific articles.
