International relations of the 531600 program - "Regional Studies" Master′s degree

International activities are organized in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, international legal acts, university Charters, bilateral and multilateral agreements with educational institutions of foreign countries and are aimed at achieving full-scale integration of the university into the global educational and scientific community.

One of the priorities of the Higher school of international education programs of Osh state university is international cooperation in the scientific and educational fields. The main areas of international activity of Higher school of international education programs of Osh state university are cooperation with foreign universities, the development of international academic mobility programs for students, and the implementation of major international scientific and educational projects.

Every year, work is carried out to expand academic mobility among undergraduates and teachers of the Higher school of international education programs of Osh state university constantly works to ensure that students can fully learn their chosen profession, get acquainted with the materials of scientific research conducted not only in the Kyrgyz Republic, but also abroad, get acquainted with the standards of work adopted in other countries.

The program has established international relations with many foreign partner universities. Among them are Kyoto Minsai International Academy (Japan), Kansai International Japanese Language Center (Japan), Xinjiang Pedagogical University (China), West Bohemian University of Bohemia (Czech Republic), South Ural State University (Russia), L. Gumilev Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan), etc. Teachers and volunteers from China, Korea and Japan are involved annually for high-quality teaching and assimilation of knowledge by students in Oriental languages.

The teaching staff of the 531600- "Regional Studies" Master′s degree program are participants in numerous international programs and projects and undergo internships at universities in Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, etc.

In addition to international projects, the program′s teachers participate in the implementation of state programs based on targeted projects and developments funded from the national budget. In 2021, the program successfully implemented the Ministry of Education and science of Kyrgyz Republic project on the topic: "The processes of self-identification in the daily life of the religious community of Kyrgyzstan: mechanisms, principles and methods."

Work is underway at a high level on the academic mobility of students. Every year, students of the program travel for academic mobility to countries near and far abroad, such as the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, Turkey, Russia, and Kazakhstan. According to the rating of Osh State University′s academic mobility areas, the area of Regional Studies takes the first place.
